Travis Kelce 'dad bod' video rumors instantly shot down by Andy Reid

Travis Kelce had himself a busy offseason with his marriage to 14-time Grammy winner Taylor Swift. And with the tight end turning 37 in his 14th NFL season, rumors have been circulating about the kind of shape Kelce arrived in at training camp last week.

Andy Reid wanted to put an end to that narrative. He's happy with how Kelce has been looking thus far at camp.

Last week, a likely AI-generated video went viral that purported to show the Chiefs tight end stumbling through drills with a beer gut. Now, a couple seasons ago, Kelce didn't show up to camp in the best shape, and it resulted in a career-worst season. That wasn't the case last year with Kelce having a solid personal year despite the Chiefs' struggles.

Reid told NFL Network on Tuesday that the "dad bod" rumors were nonsense.

Reid said:

"Well, he came back in good shape. I know everybody's out there saying he got the dad bod and all this stuff. But he looks the same to me that he's always looked and just playing like crazy. So he's doing a nice job with everything. He's focused in and ready to go."

And honestly, Reid is right.
