Transfer round-up: Juventus midfielders, Inter’s defender search, Greenwood latest

Friday’s transfer rumours see Juventus linked with a potential move for Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga, Inter linked with a move for Roma’s Evan Ndicka and Roma holding out for an ambitious deal for former Manchester United talent Mason Greenwood.

Here is a round-up of the day’s transfer stories involving the major Serie A clubs.

Juventus

Friday’s reports indicate that Juventus are eyeing an ambitious loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The Frenchman was recently left out of his nation’s squad for the 2026 World Cup after struggling for consistent opportunities at the Bernabeu this season.

The 23-year-old is reportedly open to a move away from Madrid to secure more consistent play-time, but La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that he is only interested in leaving on a temporary basis, which is why Juventus feel that a loan move to Turin could be on the cards.

Much depends on the future steps of Teun Koopmeiners, who has struggled to impress for two seasons in a row at the Allianz Stadium and could be a difficult player for Juventus to shift on the transfer market.

Elsewhere, reports confirm that Nico Gonzalez has no intention of returning to Juventus in 2026-27, that he is holding out for a permanent move to Atletico Madrid, and if that doesn’t come off, that he will seek a move elsewhere.

In other Juventus news, a deal for Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is looking increasingly complicated, while Dusan Vlahovic’s contract renewal has still not yet been resolved.

Inter

Friday’s reports have focused on Inter’s search for new defenders. Barcelona’s deal for Anthony Gordon means that Alessandro Bastoni is now extremely unlikely to move to Camp Nou this summer, although there have been suggestions that Yann Bisseck is an increasingly strong option for Bayern Munich. La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Nerazzurri want a fee of €40m for the German.

In terms of incomings, the three main targets at centre-back are Udinese’s Oumar Solet, Sassuolo’s Tarik Muharemovic and Roma’s Evan Ndicka.

Muharemovic is at somewhat of a standstill, as Sassuolo feel his value could skyrocket during the upcoming World Cup, but Solet remains a strong option and Ndicka could also be allowed to leave Roma, who need to raise funds to comply with financial fair play regulations.

Elsewhere, Inter are said to be willing to listen to offers for Luis Henrique this summer, but will be seeking a fee of around €30m for his services according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Milan

Again, Milan’s transfer plans remain unclear given that they currently have no head coach, no sporting director, no technical director nor a CEO following the departures of Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare, Geoffrey Moncada and Giorgio Furlani immediately after the end of the 2025-26 season.

There have been suggestions, however, that Adrien Rabiot could leave the club this summer in order to follow Allegri to Napoli. If that does prove to be the case, it will be the third different club where the pair have worked together.

Roma

As mentioned earlier, Roma need to raise funds by the end of June in order to satisfy financial fair play demands. Both Ndicka and Manu Kone are players appreciated in Inter circles.

Meanwhile, reports claim that several Premier League sides including Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in a potential deal for Italy international Niccolo Pisilli, valued in the region of €35m.

In terms of incomings, former Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood remains the priority target in attack, although Marseille are expected to demand around €50m-€60m for his services, given that he is not near the end of his contract and that Manchester United are entitled to a significant sell-on clause.
