Aaron McGowan has made 13 appearances for Tranmere Rovers this season [Shutterstock]
Tranmere Rovers defender Aaron McGowan has extended his contract at Prenton Park until the end of the season.
The 29-year-old joined Rovers on a short-term deal in October after leaving Northampton Town in the summer.
He has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the League Two side.
"This club has been nothing but great to me since the minute I walked in, and I now want to reward that," he told the club website.
