Though bowl eligible, Arizona had yet to secure something that could be called a “signature” victory this season. That’s no longer the case after the Wildcats won at No. 22 Cincinnati, the 18th road win over a ranked opponent in school history.

Statistically, the UA (7-3, 4-3 Big 12) dominated the Bearcats and outside of two drives in the first half the defense was nails once again. And the grades from Pro Football Focus matched that performance.

Arizona’s overall grade of 79.9 was its best since the Oklahoma State win and second-best in Big 12 play. The offense (76.9) had its third-best grade of the season and Danny Gonzales’ defense graded over 70 for the seventh time in 2025.

The Wildcats only had six defensive game grades of 70 or better during the 10-win season in 2023.
