Toulouse predicted XI v Rennes: Aron Donnum sanctioned and omitted

Aron Donnum missed last weekend’s 1-1 draw against Paris FC, not through suspension or injury, but through choice. Carles Martínez Novell was vague on the topic but confirmed that the Norwegian’s absence was a disciplinary matter. He will also miss Toulouse FC’s visit to face Stade Rennais on Saturday afternoon.

Martínez Novell confirmed that Donnum’s sanction was for two games, not just one. Reports suggest that it is a consequence of his behaviour in the dressing room following Toulouse’s defeat to Le Havre AC earlier this month. He will return for Le TéFéCé’s midweek Coupe de France encounter against Olympique de Marseille.

There are three other high-profile absentees in the form of Cristian Casseres (suspension), Rasmus Nicolaisen, and Frank Magri (both injury-related).
