Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with West Ham United United for Portuguese midfielder Mateus Fernandes. The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium club have been looking to sign the Hammers star for a while now and it appears they have finally pipped Manchester United to his services. Fernandes is set to leave West Ham this summer following relegation to the Championship, and a move to Spurs is now inching closer.
Tottenham midfielder Roberto De Zerbi wants reinforcements in the middle of the park and the 21-year-old fits the bill.
