Tom Brady is a master of comebacks, and even he thinks Argentina may have just topped him.

After Argentina came back from two goals down to beat Egypt in the World Cup round of 16, the NFL legend posted on X that it "might top 28-3."

Much like the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LI, Argentina pulled off a comeback for the ages on Tuesday, July 7

Egypt looked to be sending the defending champions out of the tournament after taking a 2-0 lead in the 67th minute through Mostafa Ziko.

But Argentina stunned Egypt with three unanswered goals to secure a 3-2 win. Cristiano Romero began the comeback in the 79th minute before Lionel Messi scored a dramatic equalizer in the 83rd.

Just as it appeared the game may be heading for extra time, Enzo Fernandez scored a picture-perfect header in second-half stoppage time to secure a place in the quarterfinal.

Yeah so that might top 28-3

Brady's "28-3" mention was of course a reference to the Patriots' legendary comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl.

In 2017, the Falcons led by that score midway through the third quarter, appearing to lock up their first Super Bowl title.

But the Patriots staged an epic comeback n, scoring 31 unanswered points to win the game 34-28 in Houston.
