It looks like future Hall of Fame NFL quarterback Tom Brady may be joining the WWE after all. The speculation began when Brady slapped Logan Paul at a recent event, which led many to believe that the slap was leading up to an upcoming match between the two.
Although nothing is official, Brady has said in a recent interview with WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes on his "What Do You Want to Talk About? podcast, where he said he'd love to be a part of the WWE.
He's just waiting for an invite from WWE president Nick Khan.
"I need to get an invite,"Brady said. "Ive been waiting for Nick Khan to come up with a storyline for me to get in the mix. I feel like I'm retired from football, have an opportunity to get out there and still showcase that I'm a little of an athlete."
"Come on Nick," Brady said. "Come on, make it happen." Within 24 hours of Brady saying that, he slapped Paul in public and they have "feuding" ever since.
Brady says if he were to join the WWE, he'd naturally want to play a villain because he's used to playing that role.
"It's such an easy choice; I'm a bad guy, " he said. "I've always been a bad guy. I feel like when our teams did really well, I would always go into these stadiums, and I would feel that obviously at home it was great. But when you go on the road, and you've had some success in the NFL, they like you. It's an incredible feeling when you work that entire day to basically try to send the crowd home early."
Brady may be ready to play that part soon.
