Atlanta was treated to one of the wildest matches at the 2026 World Cup, and directly at the center of the action was none other than Lionel Messi. With Argentina trailing 2-0 after a goal in the 68th minute by Mostafa Zico, Messi and company needed some magic to keep their World Cup alive. Fortunately, they got it quickly, with Romero scoring in the 79th minute, followed by Messi's incredible goal in the 83rd minute.

All of a sudden, fans in Atlanta were witnessing one of the most impressive World Cup comebacks, and it was capped off in the 93rd minute by a header from Fernandez to give Argentina its first lead at 3-2 as time was ticking down. The comeback was one of the best in recent sports memory, with many immediately comparing it to the 28-3 Atlanta Falcons' loss to the New England Patriots.

Among those who made the comparison was none other than former Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady. However, Brady even admitted that this game may have topped his own comeback.

Yeah so that might top 28-3
