Former New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is widely regarded as the greatest football player of all-time, but he does not think he's the greatest passer of the football ever.
Brady's seven Super Bowl rings are undeniable. Six of those came with the Patriots, but he never got to face off against Aaron Rodgers in a Super Bowl. For years, fans wished to see those two face off in the big game. Rodgers and Brady were seen as the two best quarterbacks in the NFL for years, and it was often debated who the better quarterback was.
Brady won more in the playoffs, but Rodgers' talent is undeniable. He is a future Hall of Famer, and Brady had high praise for him during an appearance on "Stick to Football."
“I think there’s no greater passer of the football than Aaron Rodgers,” Brady said. “... There’s certain people, you see everyone do it, and then you see one person throw the ball that much better. Aaron Rodgers was incredible.
"He's hard to put into words how incredible he passes the ball,” Brady said. “The way it comes out of his hand, the way it spins and delivers with the pace and the accuracy. There’s only probably three people in the history of the NFL that could do it like him.”
This is not the first time Brady has acknowledged Rodgers' greatness. Rodgers is a four-time NFL MVP and made a career out of taking care of the football, without shying away from taking risks. Rodgers is back with the Pittsburgh Steelers for one more season, and then he will join Brady in retirement.
