Movie from last year mostly remembered for the controversy over the grassroots movement to get its star Andrea Riseborough a Best Actress nomination.

We just watched it (on Netflix), and she deserved that nomination. Fantastic performance. Gritty movie but worth sticking with it. We both really liked it.

Side note - our musician friend Ken Liebenson of the Doo Wah Riders has an uncredited cameo with the band at a small festival. Kind of cool when you see someone you know in a film - even in an uncredited role.
