We tried. We really tried. But after 20 minutes it proved painfully dull. The characters were terribly uninteresting, and there wasn't even a hint of an engaging story. If I went to the theater and paid for it, I suppose I'd stick around, but as I was at home, I gave up.

Even at the theater, walk out. Demand your money back.

That's what I did with " Born on the Fourth of July"
Don't get me wrong. It's a powerful well made movie. But I go to the movies to be entertained. Not disturbed, and that movie is highly disturbing.
