After making a surprise trade back into the first round of the draft on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans again used some of their draft capital to move up into the second round at pick 60 to select Texas linebacker Anthony Hill Jr.
In the move, Tennessee moved up nine spots by trading a third (No.69) and fifth (No. 144) to the Chicago Bears in exchange for pick No. 60. As of now, the Titans will not make another selection until the fifth round on Day 3 of the draft, where they have two picks, No. 142 and No. 165.
Barring any more moves, the Titans still have five picks remaining in the draft, the two in the fifth round, plus two in the sixth (No.184 and No.194), and one in the seventh (No. 225).
Unlike his first draft, general manager Mike Borgonzi has been extremely active moving up in the draft to acquire two of the Titans’ three draft picks, Keldric Faulk and now Hill, to continue adding talent and athleticism to the roster.
