Just before news broke that Arthur Smith was taking the Ohio State offensive coordinator position, another potential Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator candidate came off the board.

Ian Rapoport took to social media to report that Bobby Slowik is staying with the Miami Dolphins after being promoted from passing game coordinator to offensive coordinator under new head coach Jeff Hafley. Prior to this news, Slowik was mentioned as a possibility for the Titans' opening, with no word of an interview.

This is the third name analysts and insiders have connected to the position that has signed elsewhere since the hiring of Robert Saleh, leaving Brian Daboll and Kliff Kingsbury as the two high-profile names on the board.

Daboll is currently in the running for both the Buffalo Bills' head coaching vacancy and the Philadelphia Eagles' offensive coordinator position, although he appears to be the frontrunner in Nashville if he doesn’t land the Bills job.

Kingbury has been mentioned in connection with the Eagles and interviewed with the Baltimore Ravens for their head coaching position after being let go by the Washington Commanders.
