The Tennessee Titans have overhauled the majority of their roster during the offseason and appear to have at least reset their floor as they head into the final weeks of the offseason.

Now, with so many new faces on the roster, fans should expect a massive turnover heading into the season compared to the past few disappointing seasons, and that is a great thing. Unfortunately, they could also face some tough roster decisions ahead, and Gilberto Manzano points to one the Titans will need to make.

Tennessee TitansDid you know Will Levis is still on the team?

The Titans spent lots of money in free agency, providing new coach Robert Saleh with plenty of defensive playmakers. Moves were also made for second-year quarterback Cam Ward, who will now get to throw to free-agent addition Wan’Dale Robinson and rookie No. 4 pick Carnell Tate.

After glancing at the Titans’ new-look roster, the depth chart behind Ward stood out because Mitchell Trubisky and Hendon Hooker were signed in the offseason, and Will Levis still hasn’t been moved. Levis, the 2023 second-round selection, is an obvious trade candidate or a potential roster cut considering there’s a new coaching staff and new backup options.

This will be an interesting battle to watch in both offseason team activities (OTAs) and training camp, and one that could add future draft assets as the regular season draws near. It did come as a bit of a surprise that Levis was not dealt around the draft, but it also makes sense since he missed the entirety of the 2025 season.

If Levis has a strong camp, he could see his value dramatically increase. Young quarterback talent is always in demand, and Levis could become an option for a team outside of Nashville. With the Titans likely to keep only two quarterbacks on the active roster, the battle between Levis and Hendon Hooker could be a hot one in training camp, and depending on the market, may force the Titans to keep three. It will definitely be something to keep an eye on.
