Detroit — The Tigers are back on national television and streaming on Sunday, May 3.

That means Sunday night's series finale between the Tigers and Texas Rangers at Comerica Park will not be broadcast on Detroit SportsNet. Here's how you can watch the game:

Tigers play-by-play man Jason Benetti, the new voice of "Sunday Night Baseball" on NBC, is on the call for the game, and he'll be joined in the broadcast booth by Tigers Detroit SportsNet analyst Dan Petry and Rangers television analyst Mike Bacsik.

This will be the Tigers' fifth appearance on national TV this season, and second in ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" slot. They are 1-3 on national TV so far in 2026:

  • Sunday, April 5: Lost to Cardinals, 5-3 (Peacock)
  • Friday, April 17: Lost to Red Sox, 1-0 in 10 innings (Apple TV)

  • Saturday, May 2: Defeated Rangers, 5-1 (Fox)
