Detroit — The Tigers will activate right-handed pitcher Ty Madden off the injured list before the game Monday in Tampa.
He is expected to start against the Rays.
Madden has been out since being struck on the right forearm by a line drive on May 15.
The Tigers will announce a corresponding move to clear a spot on the active roster before the game.
