Coventry City announced several ticketing changes on Friday before the 2026-27 season in the Premier League.
Chairman Doug King told BBC CWR that the Coventry Building Society Arena has to be a "fortress" on their return to the Premier League.
"Make sure you get your tickets, make sure you get them early and make sure you come to hospitality," he added.
Sky Blues fans can now renew their season ticket, but there will be no additional ones made available.
Coventry fan Kate Cooper said: "I think it has caused some anxiety. There are a lot of unknowns as well.
"I hope I have saved enough. I think I have saved £650. My ticket last year was £480.
"I have allowed for an increase, but obviously I don't know if that is going to be enough."
