Jose Corniell has been optioned back to Round Rock and Winston Santos recalled after the Rangers burned through all of their long relief options in Tuesdays 6-4 loss to the Marlins.
Corey Seager is expected to return to the lineup today against Toronto after missing 13 days under the concussion protocol and only playing 5 games in the last 6 weeks due to back problems.
Evan Grant pronounces the Rangers’ offensive bland and uninteresting after Wednesday’s 4-2 loss to Miami, noting that about once a week they are able to really punish a pitcher.
