Morning, all!

Skip Schumaker took responsibility for yesterday’s loss in a postgame presser, saying he should have walked Shea Langeliers in a tie game with first base open.

The game was tied up when Schumaker brought in Cole Winn to face Langeliers in the fifth with a lefty due up behind him, a situation Langeliers promptly remedied.

With Luis Curvelo and Chris Martin both going down with injuries the Rangers have had to make room on the 40 man roster in an attempt to apply chewing gum and duct tape to their bullpen.

So what can the Rangers do about their longstanding failure to score on lefthanded pitching, a trend that doesn’t seem to show any signs of reversing in 2026?

Evan Grant says that the Rangers need to see more from Wyatt Langford before offering him a long term deal.
