Guess we’re just built different. I just don’t enjoy watching us consistently get our asses beat while our best player consistently underperforms. And sadly, this playoffs aren’t the first time it’s happened and it’s now an ugly trend for four years.

But hey, if you want to attack me for saying so to make yourself feel better, guess that’s your perogative.

Yeah if Ott hasn’t done it yet I don’t see him doing it. I agree with you, but Ott seems stubbornly anchored to Fleming on the bench.

Btw, anyone else laughing at the guys calling the game about their marveling at sga’s demeanor earlier? I mean it’s easy to be happy when you get a foul called every time anyone is near you.

i'd say that was our best effort - until the 4th quarter - first time we had a game with runs going both ways for awhile but okc went to a new level whenever they needed

That’s what I said when we won the play-in game. If this entire series passes and those guys don’t get major burn, this entire experience is mostly pointless.

Agreed. I have been incredibly unimpressed by Ott's coaching the entire second half of the year. He's starting to look like another Hornacek who had one philosophy and when that stopped working, he refused to do anything else.

I put the game on mute some time ago. It's been easier to watch that way.

That’s what I said when we won the play-in game. If this entire series passes and those guys don’t get major burn, this entire experience is mostly pointless.

Look I get that OKC is simply more talented and deeper than us. However, I still feel like Ott is coaching like he is scared. Play the damn rookies more. Try different combos. He has nothing to lose. Ott has really disappointed the 2nd half of the season and the playoffs IMO. We are going to get swept which makes the first half of the season feel pretty empty other than we are better than we thought we were going to be.

This team has to add at least two major pieces in the offseason based on what we have seen the 2nd half.
