Under Jedd Fisch, the Washington Huskies coaching staff has done a good job of scouting the high school ranks, and it has seen several of its commits shoot up recruiting rankings ahead of signing day.
Here are three options in the 2027 class, which currently sits as the No. 23 class according to 247Sports, who could be in line for an upgrade in the coming months.
247Sports Composite ranking: National- 745, iOL- 49, CO- 4
The 6-foot-3, 290-pound prospect was one of the most sought-after linemen in the nation ahead of his commitment to Washington, partially thanks to his experience at center. Not only did he pick the Huskies out of a group of finalists that included Georgia, Miami, and USC, but he also has the strength, athleticism, and football IQ to play along the interior of position coach Michael Switzer's unit if called on during his true freshman season.
247Sports Composite ranking: National- 954, LB- 81, CA- 71
At 6-foot-3 and 205 pounds, Coach has a frame that can add plenty of additional weight, which could suggest a full-time move to outside linebacker as his career progresses. He takes the majority of his snaps on the outside at the high school level, where he plays with an explosive first step as a pass rusher and extreme patience when defending the run.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect has been committed to Washington since late December and has flown under the radar for the majority of his time on the recruiting trail. Not only does Williams possess a promising frame and excel in press coverage, but he also has strong ball skills and great instincts at the position, making quick breaks on passes and consistently getting his hands in the way.
