Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran
The Boston Red Sox got a very good offensive game from speedy outfielder Jarren Duran on Tuesday night, but his best play of the night had nothing to do with his bat.
With the Red Sox holding onto a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning and the Kansas City Royals having a man on third base, Salvador Perez hit a ball to left field that seemed destined to touch down on the warning track over Duran's head. While this is the case, he made a ridiculous jumping and twisting catch to keep Boston's lead at one.
You've got to see the play to really know how difficult it was.
Jarren Duran just hit the Jordan logo. Another nice play from him in left field tonight. pic.twitter.com/E8K4rR5bSJ

Plus, Duran hit a homer and a double in the contest. If this is the version of Duran Boston fans will be seeing from here on out, the Red Sox are going to be just fine in the long run. This is the version of Duran that has thrived in a Boston uniform. He hasn't had the season he wanted, but Tuesday was nearly perfect for him.
