I'm so glad this is back on. It's been a few years, and it is good to rediscover the absolute brilliance of this production. Every last thing about it is breathtaking, from the historic accuracy to the set brilliance, to the writing, and most of all, the tour de force acting performances of Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney, among every other.

This is what it looks like when popular culture elevates us instead of denigrates us.

But... if it's on HBO, couldn't you already get it on demand, like the rest of their series content? I'm just confused why re-airing is a big deal here.

I'm not sure if it's On Demand or not, but if he likes it and wants to announce a re-airing, that's not really a big deal. It's like a public service announcement. :)

You can watch it on demand with HBO Go and even Amazon Prime.

We used to make our daughter watch this show when she got bored and couldn't sleep. She sometimes reminds us that she can tell us just about everything about John Adams.

I’m not sure, but do you get HBO Go if you pay for HBO with your cable company?

I was so excited for this but just ended up bored to tears that I gave up halfway through episode 2.

I'll watch this if they promise a John Quincy Adams sequel.

I thought it was very insightful if you like history like me. I agree with the above though. I want a story about John Quincy Adams.

Which is why we put it on for our daughter, lol, when she INSISTED she needed to have the TV on to fall asleep. DCR gives her more credit than she actually should get. She knows everything about him that happened in the first 20-30 min of the dvds...ha! Out like a light. I think this was from like, age 10-13, somewhere in there. Might fall under cruel & unusual punishment.

This was a great show. I was really hoping they would do this for other presidents.
