These Blue Water Area athletes earned all-state honors at MHSAA track & field finals

PORT HURON — It's one thing to be among the best athletes in your city, conference or county. But to follow suit at the state level?

Well, that makes you one of a kind.

Several Blue Water Area residents reached those heights, Saturday, May 30, at the 2026 MHSAA track & field finals.

Here are the local athletes who received all-state honors.

DIVISION 1​


PORT HURON NORTHERN

Lincoln Watkins:
The senior placed fifth in the boys shot put at 54 feet, 4 1/4 inches.

DIVISION 2​


IMLAY CITY

Enrique Cardenas:
The senior was part of the boys 4x100 relay team that placed seventh at 43.01 seconds.

Ethan Everhart: The senior was part of the boys 4x100 relay team.

Brett Lestage: The senior finished sixth in the boys 100 meters at 11.11 seconds. He was also part of the 4x100 relay team.

Alan Valdovinos: The senior was part of the boys 4x100 relay team.

YALE

Sadie Dykstra:
The senior finished second in the girls 100-meter hurdles at 14.73 seconds. She also placed third in the 300-meter hurdles (44.81 seconds), fourth in the high jump (5-4) and sixth in the long jump (17-4 3/4). This was the fourth consecutive season in which Dykstra earned multiple all-state honors.

DIVISION 4​


CAPAC

Ava Klink:
The senior placed sixth in the girls discus at (109-2).

MARLETTE

Alexandra Findlay:
The senior finished third in the girls pole vault at 10 1/4.

Julius Johnson: The senior finished sixth in the boys shot put at 47-4 1/4. He also placed eighth in the discus (142-7).

Brayden Kirkpatrick: The sophomore was part of the boys 4x400 relay team finished third at 3:30.68.

Luke Thomas: The senior was part of the boys 4x400 relay team.

Gabe Williams: The sophomore was part of the boys 4x400 relay team.

MEMPHIS

Kai Fisher:
The junior placed third in both the boys 200 meters (22.63 seconds) and 400 meters (50.77 seconds).
