The Utah Jazz have officially announced their roster for the much-anticipated Las Vegas Summer League, and it includes a group built around recent draft picks, internal prospects and G League contributors the organization wants to evaluate in extended minutes. The list includes first-rounders Ace Bailey and Cody Williams, No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson, two-way wing Blake Hinson and guards Bez Mbeng and Hayden Gray, all of whom are expected to carry significant usage in Utah’s Summer League rotation.

Bailey enters the event after a strong rookie season and is expected to take on a larger offensive role. Williams, on the other hand, will be evaluated on his ball-handling and shot creation following an impressive performance in the Salt Lake Summer League. Peterson, the highlight of the roster, gives Utah a chance to test his scoring and decision-making in an expanded professional setting. Hinson, on a two-way contract, provides shooting and physicality on the wing, while Mbeng and Gray continue in-house development tracks the Jazz have emphasized over the past year.

The Jazz also leaned heavily on their G League pipeline as Max Abmas, Matt Cleveland and Justin Harmon arrive from the Salt Lake City Stars, each with a chance to earn training camp consideration. Utah supplemented that group with additional G League standouts, including Jonas Aidoo, Tamar Bates, Eric Dixon, Orlando Robinson and Kylor Kelley. Robinson, who has logged NBA minutes, adds frontcourt experience to the roster.

Utah rounded out the roster with college prospects Micah Handlogten from Florida, Jaxon Kohler from Michigan State and Mohamed Wague from Oklahoma. All three bring size and mobility, giving the Jazz multiple options to evaluate at the center position following Salt Lake Summer League. Handlogten’s length and timing fit Utah’s defensive profile, Kohler offers interior skill and touch and Wague provides energy as a rim-runner.

The group reflects Utah’s broader development strategy, and the Jazz will use Las Vegas to test lineup combinations built around Bailey, Williams and Peterson, while identifying which G League players can translate their production to NBA physicality and pace. The front office will also evaluate whether any of the developmental bigs can earn a longer look heading into fall.

Summer League results rarely carry long-term importance, but the event gives Utah an environment to assess its young core and the next tier of potential contributors. For the Jazz, the priority in Las Vegas is information, and this roster is built to provide it.
