So what? I’m no Miles Bridges fan, but we’ve pretty much debunked that stupid Michigan state theory haven’t we?Yup. He has played at Michigan state.
Michigan State has worked out for us so far. <cough>Jordan Ott<\cough>

Flemingo is the future. Livers is not near the athlete. Same with NHD. Keep Rasheer and give him some G League or NBA minutes.Right now, Livers is a better player than Dunn and Fleming. Due to relative need, I'd see Livers filling out the 15th regular spot going into playoffs.
Uh, we have? Our gm, head coach, and two assistant coaches (cleaves and Dwyer) all have msu ties.So what? I’m no Miles Bridges fan, but we’ve pretty much debunked that stupid Michigan state theory haven’t we?

Yeah, again, so what? Look where we are at!Uh, we have? Our gm, head coach, and two assistant coaches (cleaves and Dwyer) all have msu ties.
And just because Ott seems to be a terrific coach doesn’t negate the fact that he has msu ties.
Yeah, you're right. Get rid of him!Uh, we have? Our gm, head coach, and two assistant coaches (cleaves and Dwyer) all have msu ties.
And just because Ott seems to be a terrific coach doesn’t negate the fact that he has msu ties.
It was cool of Ayton to take over for Javale McGee. Somebody's got to do it! Does Shaq still do Shaqtin' a Fool?what are the lukas going to do with ayton - lebron and luka can't hide their feelings on the court anymore - the fanbase calls for hayes everytime ayton misses a shot he should have dunked - so like several times a game - he's doing to los angeles what he did to phx - the lockeroom has to be a mess
but nobody wants the biggest joke of a center on twitter - im hoping the lukas have to add incentives to move him - im hoping the lukas called ish enquiring about richards and ish told everybody not too laugh to hard when he secretly put the lukas on speaker phone before breaking their hearts
anyone else can have richards for a 2nd round pick but if it's the lukas i want a 1st and a 2nd - meaning being we aren't helping los angeles - here's some free advice tho - pay ayton to leave
Who said it was bad at this point? I literally just typed “Michigan State.” I believe that was my entire first post on the matter. Just making one connection why ish might be interested in bridges.Yeah, again, so what? Look where we are at!
At worst, the MSU ties are irrelevant, and at best it shows that Michigan State has produced some great minds that have benefited us!
I'm just trying to understand what solid evidence you all have that the MSU tie is a bad thing at this point. We all thought it would be bad, well, guess what? It hasn't been! Coaching across the board has been great and Gregory is in the conversation for exec of the year. It may not last, of course, but that won't be because they all happen to be Michigan State alumni.
Your second post implies that the MSU ties are somehow a negative, but I was just pointing out that here is no basis in that implication.Who said it was bad at this point? I literally just typed “Michigan State.” I believe that was my entire first post on the matter. Just making one connection why ish might be interested in bridges.
@Chaplin - this has a negative implication? You’re reading into things.Yup. He has played at Michigan state.
No offense chap, but no, you didn’t. You quoted that exact post. #176 in this thread.lol forget it. I quoted a completely different post. Not worth the argument.
No offense, but yes I did. #181.No offense chap, but no, you didn’t. You quoted that exact post. #176 in this thread.
See now you’re putting words in my mouth. Please show me where I said it is the “only reason.” I literally said “just making one connection” meaning there are others. For some reason you want to stir something up that just didn’t exist here. Talk about something being beneath someone…No offense, but yes I did. #181.
Again, doesn't matter. Maybe it's subconscious, but you've certainly not presented any evidence that Michigan State is a reason for much of anything. Thinking that MSU is the only reason why we like Bridges coming from some internet rumor monger is beneath you, as it is for all of us that have a modicum of knowledge of this team. Bridges has his own problems, but being an MSU guy is far, far down the list, if it's on the list at all.
I don't doubt the Michigan St connection.
Ishbia, unquestionably, has a leaning towards Michigan State, Miles Bridges went there, he also has a MAJOR wart that I don't know if Ishbia would overlook if it wasn't for the school connection.
I want nothing to do with Miles Bridges... he beat the piss out of that woman. I don't want to root for that guy, he shouldn't be in the league.
Wow. Okay, you win.See now you’re putting words in my mouth. Please show me where I said it is the “only reason.” I literally said “just making one connection” meaning there are others. For some reason you want to stir something up that just didn’t exist here. Talk about something being beneath someone…
Here are my my exact quotes in this conversation :
POST 1 - “Michigan state”
POST 2 - “Yup. He has played at Michigan State.”
POST 3 - “Uh, we have? Our gm, head coach, and two assistant coaches (cleaves and Dwyer) all have msu ties.

POST 5 - “@Chaplin - this has a negative implication? You’re reading into things”
I didn’t so much “win” as successfully defended myself.Wow. Okay, you win.
