Predicting the first round of the NFL Draft hours before it starts is a fool’s errand. Unraveling it 364 days in advance? That’s borderline lunacy.
But there’s more than three months before the NFL preseason even starts up. We’ve got time, and it’s never a bad idea to acquaint yourself with the college prospects who could fill out future All-Pro rosters. Thus, let's take a quick dive into the 50 most intriguing draft-eligible players of the 2025 college football season.
2025 NFL ODDS:Offensive Rookie of the Year odds and top picks to win, including Ashton Jeanty
Some of these players are superstars just waiting for draft eligibility to arrive. Others are smaller school standouts who have to prove they can be consistent forces for good against top competition. A handful are five-star recruits still working to turn that potential into the production that belies a top-20 draft pick.
Each will earn his share of scouts’ attention through 2025. Let’s start with an All-American safety who almost certainly will not be the first overall pick due to the position he plays, but who might be college football’s best player this fall.
