Anyone remember the mood in Phoenix in the early 90s...how crazed they were for the Suns? That feeling is in the air again if you just listen to folks talk...not about the 22-3 Suns though.....it's about the possibility that the Cardinals might make the playoffs!

This is a town waiting to explode, playoffs or not, we have a lot of things to look forward to next season!

I remember that well...everything was purple and orange.

I wonder how the Suns feel about the Cardinals right now. "We're freaking 22-3 and all anyone talks about is the 5-9 football team!" :D

I am sure the Suns are that worried. :)

I remember that well. I also remember 1998 and how Phoenix went crazy for the Cards. T-Shirts and bumper stickers were sprouting up everywhere. There were even fans at the airport to see the Cards off to Dallas and to greet them when they returned.

This is a football town waiting to come out.

Something in common: One team is 5-9 and can't sellout (73,000 seat stadium) and the other is 22-3 and can't sellout (19,023 seat arena). :D

No one can sell the Suns to women like Dan Majerle did in the early 90s. Bandwagon female fans were a big part of that championship mania. I'm no expert, but this roster might be one hairy chin mole shy of a Jack Sikma-like appeal to women.
