The rumored trade with Miami the Cardinals turned down.

Jureki was on 15 news, and said the Dolphins wanted to trade for the Cardinals 18th pick. They wanted to give the Cardinals the LB Rogers, a 2nd round pick in this years draft, and a first rounder in next years draft. I wonder if they made that trade if Pace would still have been there in the 2nd round?

I honestly think Pace would've been gone. He was a player who's stock was on the rise. That was desperate attempt by Miami to jump up and grab a first round talent.

I would guess that Pace would have been gone. The Dolphins had the 17th pick in the 2nd round. There have been reports that some other teams called the Cards after the pick and told them that they had Pace rated in a similar position.

They also said that the Cardinals tried to move back up and trade with the Chargers so they could draft McDougal at the Chargers sopt in the draft, but the Chargers said no I guess. They didn't say what was offered in a possible trade.

What happened is that the Eagles beat the Cards to the Chargers. I heard on one of the stations that Graves was on the phone with the Chargers just seconds after the Eagles called.
