You understand you’re saying a second round pick looked almost as good as a rookie as a sixth round pick.

Stills had 8 sacks in two seasons.
You understand that you're saying that BJ was a draft steal. Same production as the #7 overall player drafted in the same draft.

Tyree Wilson, famous draft success story, has twice as many sacks as Beej. Nice try though.

I like Dante Stills.
Production per game played is higher.

BJ did better as a rookie - that was the topic of the original statement

We’re really getting close to that point where we desperately need training camp to start because off-season arguments have been beaten to such a pulp that now we’re arguing about LAST season’s off-season arguments.

Nobody does. As nobody compares him to the same random player that you decide.

I'm just copying your insane way of argumentation. So, you are pointing fingers at yourself.
Okay. I should probably start citing phantom sources then.

My point exactly!

But you appearently cannot argue without phantom benchmarks and making stuff up.

Someone likes the Sweat signing and you make up a phantom 64 start benchmark for Edge players being over the hill to tear that argument down.

Someone speaks positive about BJ and you decide to make up a phantom comparison to specific player at another position, who has overachieved his draftstatus to tear down that argument.

That was my point. Saying BJ is a draft steal is 100% as valid as saying that his production is only worth a 6th rounder. But both cases it’s just utter BS. The difference is that I’m aware it’s BS

I wonder where ESPN is getting this from.

I chihuahua at Monti at times but this is as solid of a roster I have seen since 2008. Only real questionable starters are Adams, Gathier, and Dortch. Maybe Jonah with the injury.

We will be the team people are picking up our cuts this year. Wild

I didn’t expect him to be ready in June.

With an ACL recovery I don’t expect he’ll be back to full strength until next season. Come camp it will be one year, right?

They will not put pressure on him until mid season this year.
i know 9-12, but after more than 10 months you’d hope that BJ could at least get on the grass and move against air without pads on. I see this as a set back. This goes back to my point- if BJ is trying to break into the line up mid way through the season after not showing much in his short injury plagued career - it’s going to be a huge uphill battle for him

I was thinking about Gardeck’s ACL recovery. He didn’t get his step back until the second season he returned.

6th round picks aren't allowed to overachieve?

You are talking about perhaps the best 6th round pick AZ has made in years.

You just want to argue and correct my minor mistakes.

Stills played two more games than Ojulari in 2023 if you really want to get semantical.

Why does this even matter?

Do the QB's taken ahead of Tom Brady care he was a 6th rounder? Does it make it so they can't sleep at night?

Once you are outside of the 1st round, draft value goes down tremendously.

Obviously a 2nd or 3rd rounder is supposed to be alot better than a 6th but that is not always the case.

I don't understand the point of any of this besides trying to provoke me in some way.

for Dennis, he tore that ACL in late-December 2020. So the 2021 season, he was less than 12 months post surgery.

for BJ -- at the regular season opener, he will be 12 months+ post surgery.

That is K9... Making up stuff to tear other people's opinion down without offering much himself.

Do the QB's taken ahead of Tom Brady care he was a 6th rounder? Does it make it so they can't sleep at night?
My point exactly. Using K9's thwarded linear logic all teams should trade multiple 1st rounders for the 198th pick every year.

I’m not expecting much to start the season but think he will come on in the 2nd half.
He has a lot of rust to knock off.

You know that they should have signed Calais last offseason, right?
