Cardinals linebacker nearing return from season-ending injury
The Arizona Cardinals are looking to rebound from their under .500 season from a season ago. The Cardinals are looking to get back into the playoffs in 2025, an
Yep. This is last chance saloon.going into year 3 he will have a ton to prove. Hopefully he can remain healthy this season.
Do you want to sleep in?Wake me up when he does something.
same. I defended him pretty strongly the past couple seasons mostly because we drafted him so young he still has time to develop.I had such high hopes for him but he’s a JAG until proven otherwise. #TheBestAbilityIsAvailability
Ahh. He showed promise by having 4-6 starting level games mid rookie season. He had a very good first year. It is just getting extremely crowded. Everyone is in crazy competition on DL, DE and LBs.
If there is an injury risk, they will probably just continue to be safe with him.
Still has good upside, he was a 3rd rounder for a reason.

He was a 2nd rounder
From what we have seen, I highly doubt that. He has shown more and has two years left on a very cheap contract. The 4 sacks he had was what encouraged me. He was on a similar path as dante stills, which may be the odd man out in the DT rotation despite having 10 sacks in 2 seasons.
All depends on his recovery. I think he showed promise of becoming the “other” Edge as in the solid 6-10 sack starter opposite a premier pass rusher. And showed enough not to be a complete bust.I’m glad we put ourselves in a position where we are not reliant on him. Bummer that he is still not ready yet despite not playing a single snap last season. He’s got an uphill battle to remain on this team after this year and he isn’t off to a great start. Hard to imagine that after a year off he’s going to jump right back into the thick of things and be a “10 sack guy”. Odds are higher of him being a bust

Unless something happens I expect Monti to cut his losses with Nicols
You understand you’re saying a second round pick looked almost as good as a rookie as a sixth round pick. The 4 sacks he had was what encouraged me. He was on a similar path as dante stills, which may be the odd man out in the DT rotation despite having 10 sacks in 2 seasons.
I’d love for you to produce one report that substantiates this, especially the coaches putting a statistical benchmark out there.Reports says that he made a leap coming into last season and coaches were convinced he was entering a 10+ sack season
I didn’t expect him to be ready in June.I’m glad we put ourselves in a position where we are not reliant on him. Bummer that he is still not ready yet despite not playing a single snap last season.
