Reports

From Lance Zierlein of NFL.com:

Williams plays every snap with a white-hot motor and intensity that opponents found hard to match in 2025. He’s a natural knee bender, using his leverage to blow up blocks and dart into gaps to disrupt play development in the run game. However, he’s hindered by a lack of length and explosiveness that will make it much tougher for him to create pressure as a pro.

From Dane Brugler of The Athletic:

Williams is an unselfish, energetic edge defender who plays with quickness and a nose for the football. He projects as a rotational base end who can reduce in subpackages.

From Jacob Bolander of Sports Info Solutions:

Williams is a competitive, rangy EDGE whose non-stop motor and active hands make him an intriguing rotational player at the next level, as a lack of consistent pass rush ability and setting the edge limit his ability to become a starter early on.

From Mark Schofield of SB Nation:

Pressure is production, and Williams can generate pressure on the opposing passer. He can win with power, speed, and technique off the edge. He also posted the ninth-best vertical among defensive ends at the Combine, checking in at 35.5 inches. That speaks to his power and explosiveness off the edge.
