Darn tootin' I should be at the head on this line

I have ripped on this guy for two straight years, and what does the guy do?

He comes out against one of the leagues best defenses and plays very well.

Elton Brown. I am glad you are in a happy place concerning football, and that your potential is close to being reached.

Man, I was wrong about this guy.

Crow cooked in a nice BBQ sauce with apple sauce, and green beans.

End communication

Way to man up, I am with you on this one. When he lost all that weight in the offseason it atleast showed he was serious. I am happy for him, but really hope Levi heals quick.

I think it's too hard to judge IMO. He was out there when Kurt was running the show in the no-huddle and Kurt was getting the ball out too quick for anyone to get any real pressure. I'm not saying he played badly by any means, just that the scheme really helped the line a lot with shotgun snaps and quick throws and not allowing the Ravens to get their defensive packages in the game with the no huddle.

A lot of people have been quick to say Kurt had an awesome game, and there is no denying that. But when you look back at when Matt was running the no huddle last year during the first quarter of the Chiefs game, he looked amazing as well.

No knock on Kurt, he played incredibly. Just saying that the no huddle and getting the ball out quick can make the o-line's job a lot easier. Look at the Colts. Same thing.

I have see to many Cardinals games to say that any scheme is safe from thier past pitiful OL play.

Elton deserves some props for that game.

I never felt he was washed up. I held out hope for him, I thought it was too soon to give up on him, he's a young guy and it is good to see he dedicated himself in the offseason.

I should be eating crow for Gandy though. He has played surprisingly well.

Rugby,

If you have the game TIVO'd or something, rewatch it. Elton did not play that well IMHO. It was okay, but he got ridiculously beat a couple of times also. Warner just launched the ball quickly.

Yes, I understand he was thrown into the fire so his performance should be graded on a curve, but he is nowhere near deserving of this kind of praise. I'm not going to eat ANY crow. He is what he is, and he is who we thought he was.

Elton so far is nothing more than a career backup.

Yeah, K-9 was a jerk sometimes to others (he'd always been classy with me, probably gave me the special-ed pitty treatment) and his voice was an ASFN staple, but you've got to respect Skorrp's decision. It's his playground, we just hang off the monkey bars.

Back on track: Yah Elton! More to wearing the uniform, not letting the uniform wear you.

Yea, I too saw him get beat a few times, but Warner was getting the ball out quickly for the most part.

Perhaps that dusty autographed Elton Brown helmit that has been on sale for two years (at $350.00) in my local mall will finally get sold....probably not.

I need to get a second DVR to rewatch the second half of the Baltimore game. My wife tied ours up last night watching Dancing with the Stars, which apearantly is on again tonight and tomorrow as well. WTF???

Go Cards!!!

Skkorp perma-banned him for his consistently insulting and condescending attitude.
I wondered why it seemed so much more pleasant around here.

I don't think I ever said anything bad about EB. So, I wasn't wrong. Woo hoo.

Agreed.

I will eat crow on Gandy though.

can't crown him - didn't watch the game and it was only one game.
