AUGUSTA, Ga. — The 2026 Masters Tournament is in the books with Rory McIlroy winning his second green jacket in a row by one shot over Scottie Scheffler in a dramatic battle between the two men who have combined to win four of the last five at the Augusta National Golf Club.
The 2027 Masters will be April 8 – 11.
Who's next on the tee among major championships? The Masters kicked off a four-month stretch in which there is one major championship per month through July.
PGA Championship: May 14-17 at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania, near Philadelphia. Defending champion: Scheffler. Last major winner at Aronimink: Gary Player, 1962 PGA.
U.S. Open: June 18-21 at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York. Defending champion: J.J. Spaun. Last major winner at Shinnecock: Brooks Koepka, 2018 U.S. Open.
Open Championship: July 16-19 at Royal Birkdale, in Southport, England. Defending champion: Scheffler. Last Open winner at Royal Birkdale: Jordan Spieth, 2017.
This is also a Presidents Cup year. That biennial event between the U.S. a team made of Internationals will be in September.
