This is supposed to be great. Huge Mike Flanagan fan. No one adapts Steven King or makes horror like him right now.

Stephen kings version of "It's a Wonderful Life"
Without all the horror and psychphuk that made him famous?

Nah. I'm out.
Dude is obviously taking himself too seriously in his dotage.

LOL

Shawshank Redemption is considered his greatest adaptation and that's not a horror.

Okay... I was totally wrong.
This is masterful film making.
Totally engrossing.
Touch of supernatural but way more philosophical ...
Whoever the director is,... dude is a Jedi

I hear a lot about this movie, but no one I talk to can actually tell me what it's about. And I'm too lazy to watch a trailer for something I had no interest in. What's so glorious about it?

I haven't seen it either, but I get Secret Life of Walter Mitty vibes based on what I'm hearing. That's a positive, since I love that movie.

Oh man, yeah, that's a great movie. Well, the real one. I don't hold any truck with any modern remake of a Danny Kaye classic.

It's about an apocalypse...and a guy dying from brain cancer.

Telling more would ruin the movie

It’s nothing like that.
