Here’s what I picked up from today’s show regarding who he thinks the Cards will pick at 15 barring no trades up or down in no particular order:

#1 LB Roquan Smith
#2 S Derwin James
#3 CB/S Minkah Fitzpatrick
#4 CB Mike Hughes
#5 WR DJ Moore
Honorable mention: QB Josh Rosen

Some highlights and notes:

- Gambo feels one of these five will be the pick at #15; had Reddick in his top 5 last year
- Based on sources inside the building, the Cards do not possess the ammo or willingness to move into the top 5 for a QB; price is too steep
- Only scenario to move up would be is if Rosen makes it to the 8-10 range
- They have Hughes ahead of CB Jaire Alexander
- They have Moore ahead of WR Ridley
- Could also move back if they receive a strong offer

You wanna see this board explode, have Keim trade back to mid 20s draft a WR and only pick up an end of the round 2nd this year which he will use to draft Falk.

Hughes is the only one that makes sense. I like James but no fit. Fitzpatrick could only cover the slot or a tight end. No WR should go this early. Rosen won’t be there. Smith is not a sure thing. I don’t like his pursuit speed.

Here's my five, based on more actual likelihood of being there:

1 Mike McGlinchey
2 Jaire Alexander
3 Mike Hughes
4 Calvin Ridley
5 Tremaine Edmunds

And in my seriously amateur opinion, Josh Rosen is by far the most pro ready QB in the draft and if he drops, is really worth consideration for a move up to 8-11.

I'm guessing the Cardinals trade down at #15 and move back up to draft a QB early second round or late first round.

This board is going to explode regardless of what happens on Thursday.
It will if one of the 5 Gambo listed is selected at #15. I know people like Hughes but I would rather take Alexander if we are going CB Round 1.

I agree! Pretty meh list. Besides some intrigue with James and Moore, I’m not real excited about any of them.

Let say for a moment, the following are locks to be in the first 10 picks:

1 Barkley
2 Chubb
3 Darnold
4 Nelson
5 Rosen
6 Mayfield
7 Ward
8 Allen
9 Edmunds
10 Vea

Save possibly Edmunds and Vea, I don’t see any of the others falling to 15. So which guys are in that next tier???

As much as I hate to say it, I think Gambo is spot on with who the top rated players are on the Cards board that would be left in that 11-15 range.

If it goes down like this, I sincerely hope & pray the Cards find a dance partner to trade back with in order to accumulate more picks and take someone like LVE instead.
