Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports the New Orleans Saints have reached an agreement to re-sign unrestricted free agent DE Willie Whitehead to a three-year deal, with financial terms being undisclosed. As previously reported, the Saints offered him a three-year, $3 million contract with a signing bonus of $300,000, which is likely the deal he agreed to.
We should have had him in...a signing bonus of $300,000..we could have cut him the 1st year if he does not pan out. he is an upgrade over wakefield...do not really need him if we draft suggs...
