It's pretty sick and twisted just like the original show. I swear, each season of the original show and now this I keep going back and forth between, was that cool or just way too much?!?! LOL.

After watching shows like Ted Lasso, the obvious answer is "just way too much."

Not to me. I love ‘em both.
My problem is that it’s violence just for violence sake. That’s not entertaining, that’s covering up your inadequacies as as a writer. Go so over the top that nobody will notice your writing is crap.

Really that sex party on The Boys has made the universe disgusting.

I'm with @Chaplin on this one it sounds like. Not much interest in this or the next season of The Boys after the way that show has gone. I thought the writing quality was dropping each season and that they were using shock to try to cover for it. It caused apathy to set in with me. I like the over the top stuff to an extent but it has to be in service of the story and not a replacement for it.

I actually liked this more than The Boys. The Boys always feels like it’s trying SO HARD to push the envelope, especially compared to it’s counterpart, Peacemaker, which did so flawlessly.

One thing I’m a little tired of though in high school space is that so many of the pilots revolve around one big student dying and the rest is a mystery .

Yeah, I enjoyed the first season and some of season 2, but Season 3 starting like it did with the explosion...its basically the writers daring you to quit watching. I did!
