I'd love to pick up Claiborne. Teaming him with PP and the Honey Badger (and staying healthy) should get him to full ability.

Why would the Texans cut Louis Nix? I know they signed Wilfork, but considering Wilfork's age and Nix's small rookie contract, the plan is likely to have Nix rotate in while learning from Wilfork and take over when WIifork retires.
