Jonathan Gannon inherits a mess. Kyler Murray likely won’t be ready until at least two-thirds into the 2023 season following his December ACL tear. The rest of the offense is mostly old or not very good, and the three best defensive players are either retired (J.J. Watt) or scheduled to be free agents (Zach Allen and Byron Murphy). The good news is the Cardinals have the No. 3 overall pick and a little bit of cap room to use. But this is a long-term project, not a quick fix.
