Wait, what? lol So you're telling me the videos of him just throwing to a coach and another backup QB are called practicing? lol so it's a modified hold in!
Not what my takeaway was. JB has not done anything with this offense so he needs to get up to speed. If he is still just throwing to staff a week from now I might agree with you.
Also, maybe Mlf may sending a message to JB and the team. If you don't participate in OTAs then you will where the dunce cap for awhile.

Notes from #AZCardinals offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett:

- Having Jacoby back has been “great” and says he’s learning. Says he’s a big, strong dude who is not afraid to “sling it in there.”

- Carson Beck works “really hard” and has done a great job learning. Says he’s grasping it and pads coming on will be huge for next step. Says his favorite thing about Beck is he doesn’t make the same mistake twice and he doesn’t let mistakes impact him. Cited arm strength, intelligence as others. Has been impressed with ball placement.

- says walk-throughs have been crucial with how the game has evolved, cited doing the little things first before the big picture can take place

- says the limited practices places an emphasis on players being smart and mentally tough in terms of advancing install

- “everything is competition” when it comes to Marvin Harrison Jr and Michael Wilson competing for WR1 duties

- Says relationship with LaFleur has been “great” and is there to help him in anyway. Says they’ve had conversations with Hackett’s prior HC experience.

- Play style is non-negotiable. You have to know what you’re doing, where you’re going and bring it with intensity. All 11 players.

- declined to say if there was a definitive starter in the running back room.

Takeaways from #AZCardinals DC Nick Rallis:

- loves what the team can control (attitude, energy, effort level) and believes those things have been on point thus far.

- BJ Ojulari looks “really good right now” and highlighted his elusiveness off the edge. Really excited for pads to come on.

- Thought Walter Nolen III looked really strong thus far

- “He’s in a great spot” on Max Melton. Tough competition in cornerback room. Starling Thomas has also looked “really good” and he’s in the mix. Also had “major growth” from Elijah Jones and Sean Murphy-Bunting has adjusted well to nickel corner.

- Cody Simon is a super smart kid, says he just has to trust his knowledge and prep and he’s done that in the first two days.

- Jordan Burch is similar to Simon in terms of executing at a high level. He’s playing fast and expects him to really show up when pads come on.

- says schematically there’s always changes made. Thinks Mike LaFleur’s perspective and understanding of what to change has been critical. Says the biggest thing is “who are we” in terms of identity.

- Says with Josh Sweat, you just have to load up volume to avoid injury whenever he comes back. Called talks with Sweat solid.

- “He’s been a leader since he’s been here” on Roy Lopez. Called him a very smart player that puts on a lot of teach tape.

- Off the field Darius Robinson is still “pretty goofy” and on the field, he’s rushing the passer better. Says you can see his feel his instincts settling in.

- says it’s business as usual without Jonathan Gannon here but has gratitude for his time

- Budda Baker looks the best he’s looked since Nick Rallis has been here
