That's not a smart thing to do. Anthony Edwards seems to be just a kid at heart. I hope he doesn't get hurt until he grows up.

I question those around him, as mentors. He's been involved in some questionable off court antics with women as well. This is the icing on the cake and shows he has a lot of maturing to do.

Fitz and Azabuike, who were voted the worst local broadcast team in the NBA, are on a tirade today about Houston and Dillon Brooks intentionally going after Steph's thumb. There's been multiple prior posts about it here's the latest

One of the guys on Warriors World said Kerr held Steph out not just because the deficit was so big but he didn't want Brooks to injure Steph in a game they were that far behind in

Sorry Russ, but a team that keeps and honors Draymond Green has zero room to complain about dirty play.

I agree Draymond makes dirty plays. That doesn't mean the NBA shouldn't be paying attention to what Brooks is doing. They're 2 separate things, Brooks is not retaliating over something Draymond is doing, he's intentionally trying to hit Curry in the thumb there's like a half dozen cases of it now in the series.

It is interesting, if you go to the play where Spencer gets ejected and TJD and Sengun get technicals. If the Warriors don't miss a point blank putback that should have been a dunk, it's 11 points with 4 minutes left. Then you have to wonder does Curry keep the bench in or go back to at least Steph and Butler?

it's brilliantly evil - hand is part of the ball - I'm just playing defense - blah blah blah - mastermind level

If Houston does deal for KD, I really hope Jalen Green isn’t the centerpiece of the young talent coming back.

Based on this series alone I'd be tempted to say I prefer Reed Sheppard to Green for the long haul? I liked him quite a bit in the preseason he wasn't quite ready to play this year, he's only 20 but he figures to be a better shooter. There's a bunch of stuff out today saying they think he's the best offensive talent on their roster, even better than Sengun

He might have been worth throwing Dunn into the mix. His game and leadership were so much of what the Suns sorely lacked. Probably still wouldn’t have worked this year, but I think with some tweaks in the offseason they might have had a shot next year.
At the time I was dreaming to have it done with some other assets, like suggested moving Allen for a FRP and fillers, to sweeten the Butler - Beal swap, hoping Dunn could learn and grow quickly under Butler's wings. I thought Bridges was a poorman's Pippen, Dunn could grow into a poorman's Butler some day.

so how does golden state get brooks ejected without losing any of their own players?

The Warriors fan in me still has Rickey Sobers flashbacks from 1976 when he intentionally started a fight to get Rick Barry ejected and the Suns beat my Warriors in game 6.

But to me this is different, Brooks isn't trying to incite Curry to start a fight, he's trying to injure his thumb. There's a thing online that's supposed to be a picture of Curry's thumb, Charles Barkley saw it and said that doesn't even look like a human thumb it's so mangled and swollen. But every game multiple times Brooks is going after the thumb it's so obvious and has been called out so much in the media and online I just can't believe the refs at some point don't just blow the whistle and give him a technical for it.

Thinking about it, the Mavericks let Nash, Brunson and Doncic all get away. Yet they have a championship and the Suns don't.
