The 2025-26 OKC Metro High School Sports Awards show winners

The 2025-26 OKC Metro High School Sports Awards show, presented by Landmark Fine Homes, was held at the Young Family Athletic Center on Thursday.

More than 300 athletes from the Oklahoma City area were honored, including the Players of the Year in 23 sports and the area's overall winners for boys athlete of the year, girls athlete of the year, boys coach of the year, girls coach of the year, boys team of the year, girls team of the year and the Courage Award.

Here is a list of winners:

Boys Athlete of the Year, Presented by Integris Health – Delijah Matthews from Carl Albert High School​

Matthews guided Carl Albert to a state record 20th state championship while totaling 254 carries for 2,033 yards and a program-record 44 rushing touchdowns.

Girls Athlete of the Year, Presented By Integris Health – Kelby Beller from Washington High School​

Beller won four state championships this year as the Warriors claimed titles in fastpitch softball, slowpitch softball, basketball and track. Beller played key roles on all of those teams and even served as a kicker on the football team under coach Brad Beller, her dad. Kelby will continue her athletic career in basketball at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Boys Team of the Year, Presented by Tinker Federal Credit Union – Millwood basketball​

Millwood won its 19th state championship, extending its record of most state titles in Oklahoma high school basketball history. It marks the second straight title for Dorrian Williams’ Falcons squad, led by its trio of Isaiah Wilks, Amari Barrett and Jonathan Vanburen.

Girls Team of the Year, Presented by Tinker Federal Credit Union – Washington softball​

Warriors head coach Tylor Lampkin led the program to two state softball championships this season in both fastpitch and slowpitch. Washington dominated its competition while going a combined 69-8 while clinching the program's 24th and 25th state softball titles in the fall and spring.

Boys Coach of the Year, Presented by Homeland Grocery – Cory Cole from Norman High School​

Cole led Norman to its first Class 6A state championship since 1999 after the Tigers beat Mustang on a buzzer beater in the finals. Norman hadn’t won a state tournament game since 2000, but with Cole leading his alma mater, the Tigers broke through and claimed their ninth title in program history.

Girls Coach of the Year, Presented by Homeland Grocery – Lacy Darity from Mustang High School​

Darity led Mustang softball to a special year. The Broncos won the Class 6A fastpitch championship in the fall before claiming the slowpitch title in the spring, capped by a 36-3 win over Choctaw in the finals. The 36 runs were the most ever in a Class 6A title game, and the Broncos finished with a perfect 35-0 record.

Courage Award, Presented by Landmark Fine Homes – the Minco Softball team​

Minco’s incredible journey back to the diamond captured the hearts of many after a horrific rollover bus accident in September 2025. After injuries and months of rehabilitation, the team made an emotional return to the field in the spring and marked the program's first trip to the state slowpitch tournament since 1994.

Girls Basketball Player of the Year, Presented by the City of Norman – YFAC – Kyiah Prestridge from Westmoore High School​

Prestridge led Westmoore to the Class 6A state tournament for the first time in 10 years while averaging 21.4 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. A four-star prospect, she was named the Gatorade Oklahoma Player of the Year and will continue her career at the University of Arkansas.

Boys Basketball Player of the Year, Presented by City of Norman – YFAC – Isaiah Wilks from Millwood High School​

Wilks anchored Millwood’s rise, elevating his two-way game to lead the Falcons to a second straight state title and the program’s 19th overall. He averaged 23.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 3.6 steals per game, powering an unbeaten in-state run in 2026 with his production and leadership.

Boys Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Year – Elias Mendez from Stillwater High School​

Mendez added another gold medal to his resume, winning a title in the 100 butterfly in 50.44 seconds after finishing runner-up in the event last season. He also defended his Class 6A state title in the 200 individual medley in 1:50.22.

Girls Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Year – Camryn Kanaly from Bishop McGuinness High School​

Kanaly shined at the 6A meet, winning state titles in both the 100 backstroke in 1:00.35 and the 200 individual medley in 2:14.50 after placing third in the 100 backstroke a season ago.

Boys Wrestler of the Year, Presented by Ortho Central – Ignacio Villasenor from Stillwater High School​

Villasenor helped Stillwater claim back-to-back dual state and state tournament titles in Class 6A and won the individual championship at 126 pounds. An Oklahoma State commit, he finished 35-2 and is now a three-time state champion after winning one in Colorado as a freshman and two at Stillwater.

Girls Wrestler of the Year, Presented by Ortho Central – Kyrstan Perez from Westmoore High School​

Perez claimed her second straight Class 6A state championship at 105 pounds. She also went undefeated, finishing with a 35-0 record just moments after her twin sister, Kyrain, won her third consecutive title. The Perez twins will continue their careers at Fort Hays State in Kansas.

Baseball Player of the Year, Presented by the Oklahoma City Comets – Hunter Watson from Tuttle High School​

Watson led Tuttle to the Class 4A state title as he had an incredible year both on the mound and at the plate. An OU signee, he finished with a 0.23 ERA and 6-0 pitching record along with a .505 batting average, eight home runs and 45 RBIs. He also homered in all three games at the state tournament and pitched a three-hit shutout in the quarterfinals.

Boys Golfer of the Year, Presented by Focus Federal Credit Union – Ben Lathrop from Heritage Hall High School​

Lathrop claimed his second straight Class 4A state title this spring. An Oklahoma State signee, Lathrop was dominant throughout the season and had a 69.2 scoring average. He won the championship after beating Tuttle’s Bryce Freeman in a sudden death playoff.

Girls Golfer of the Year, Presented by Focus Federal Credit Union – Gabriella Gross from Heritage Hall High School​

Gross finished as the runner-up in Class 4A and won six out of the eight tournaments she competed in. She placed second in the two tournaments she didn’t win and had a scoring average of 74.5.

Boys Soccer Player of the Year, Presented by OKC Dentistry – Andrew Solis from Crooked Oak High School​

Solis led Crooked Oak to its second straight Class 3A state title. A key leader for the Ruf-Nex, Solis was stellar both offensively and defensively and finished with 25 goals and 25 assists. He’ll continue his career at Southern Nazarene University.

Girls Soccer Player of the Year, Presented by OKC Dentistry – Camryn Regier from Bethany High School​

Regier had a sensational season as she led Bethany to its second straight Class 4A championship. A Creighton commit, she finished with 52 goals and 10 assists. Over the last two seasons, Regier has 105 goals, solidifying herself as one of the top offensive players in the state.

Girls Tennis Player of the Year – Larissa Goodman from Casady School​

Goodman is the Girls Tennis athlete of the year after defeating Heritage Hall's Ella Jacobs 6-0, 6-2 to win a 5A singles state championship in her first ever state appearance as a freshman.

Boys Tennis Player of the Year – TJ Shanahan, Bishop McGuinness High School​

Shanahan earned a state runner-up finish in Class 6A No. 1 singles after finishing the season with just two losses. He was the state’s top ranked tennis player coming off of two consecutive 5A state titles while going 32-2 this season to cap off a four-year dominant career at McGuinness.

Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year – Dominic Matthias from Moore High School​

Matthias defended his Class 6A state title in the 3,200 meter run, winning the event while clearing his previous state meet time in 9:11.49. He also placed third in the 1,600 meter run and fifth in the 800 meter run.

Girls Track and Field Athlete of the Year – Ava Salcedo from Washington High School​

Salcedo is the Girls Track & Field athlete of the year after helping guide Washington to its third consecutive Class 3A state title. Just days after helping guide the Warriors to another state title in slowpitch softball, Salcedo won individual titles in the 100 meter dash and 200 meter dash at the 3A Track & Field state meet.

Girls Cross Country Athlete of the Year – Molly Missildine from Edmond Memorial High School​

Missildine was the top runner for Edmond Memorial and one of the best in the state. She earned a runner-up finish in Class 6A after completing the state race in 18 minutes, 12.7 seconds and played a key role in Edmond Memorial winning its second girls cross country state title in program history.

Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Year – Dominic Matthias from Moore High School​

Matthias was unquestionably the best runner in the state this year. He won his first Class 6A state title and broke the state meet record in the process, finishing the 5-kilometer race in 15 minutes, 4.9 seconds.

Defensive Football Player of the Year, Presented by Country Financial – Brandy Parker Agency – Da'Jon Green from Choctaw High School​

A lock-down cornerback, Green had 68 tackles and seven interceptions for Choctaw. He also helped the Yellowjackets make it to the Class 6A-II state title game for the second straight season. Green will continue his career at Boston College.

Offensive Football Player of the Year, Presented by Country Financial – Brandy Parker Agency – Delijah Matthews from Carl Albert High School​

Matthews guided Carl Albert to a state record 20th state championship while totaling 254 carries for 2,033 yards and a program-record 44 rushing touchdowns.

Softball Player of the Year, Presented by the Oklahoma City Comets – Keegan Baker from Edmond Memorial High School​

The OU softball signee shined in the circle to guide Edmond Memorial to the state semifinals. Baker's senior year was stellar, going 14-5 in the circle while totaling 211 strikeouts and posting a 0.71 ERA through 138 innings with the Bulldogs earning several wins over the state's best.

Volleyball Player of the Year, Presented by Landmark Fine Homes – Lolufe Adedeji from Edmond Memorial High School​

A Texas A&M signee and middle blocker, Adedeji led Edmond Memorial to its second straight Class 6A championship and she finished with 287 kills, 99 blocks and a .334 hitting percentage. She was named the most valuable player of the Class 6A state tournament and Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference.
