The 41-year-old Lakers star passed Robert Parish for the most regular-season games played in NBA history on Saturday

Craziness. I remember watching both Kareem (42) and Parrish (43) playing into their 40s and they looked like tired fragile old men at the time. Like him or not LeBron James is definitely a physical marvel to be playing at the level he is playing at his age (41) currently in the NBA.

According to Shams, Luka Doncic is expected back in L.A. on Tuesday from Spain where he got treatment on his hamstring and will be reevaluated for a possible return later in the first round. Austin Reaves, however, is expected to miss the first round with his oblique injury

The Lakers will face the fifth-seeded Houston Rockets in the first round of the playoffs, which means LeBron James will go head-to-head against Kevin Durant for the first time in the postseason since the 2018 NBA Finals. Since they're short-handed without Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, they will almost certainly be sizable underdogs, but they should also have a real shot at advancing, especially since they will have home-court advantage.

Game 1 of the series will take place at 5:30 p.m. Los Angeles time at Crypto.com Arena on Saturday, April 18, and it can be seen on ABC.
