taxes help Tampa but the we see plenty of these guys pick high taxed states over no taxes states. When you’re making that amount of money, your accountant is probably keeping you pretty clean with loopholes or it’s just figured into quality of life expense I figure.

There’s just a general scuzziness to Tampa. Like, no charm to that city whatsoever. I’m also a city guy.

That’s a good description: zero charm. When i think back when we were there for the Super Bowl I have no fond or interesting memories of the area at all. Just kinda reminded me of what I thought it would be like to live in They Call Me Earl.

When Toronto entered the league players were wary because they didn’t know anything about it, but there have been a few generations of players now that loved it (Jalen Rose for example). In terms of entertainment and food culture it’s with the big NBA markets.

It also doesn’t hurt that the Raptors are kings of the city right now. The Leafs winning the Cup will always be the biggest but like NYC the city is over 40% foreign-born and half-visible minority, and the younger diverse generation loves the Raptors.

Winter is cold relative to the west coast and south, but lots of players are from Chicago, Detroit, New York, etc. Toronto’s latitude is barely north of a bunch of NBA cities and south of Minneapolis. It’s not the North Pole.

The Clips are trying to put the Morris twins back together again. Yikes.

I'd like Len or Green for some extreme end of game production, when we have those big leads this year. I dont know how old Green is now though, either is a better option than Okobo as he'll be on that list soon.

Agreed. Those are nice end of bench fillers.

To be honest, I didn't realize about half of those guys were still in the league.

Len is a serviceable big now that he can seemingly catch the ball in the games I have seen him in.

Isaiah really the only one that intrigues me on this list.

I wouldn't mind having IT, Green, or Len back for bench help.

I doubt IT would be ok backing up Paul though so I'd count him out as a possibility.

Green probably doesn't fit the defensive identity this team seems to be building so I doubt he'd be a real option either.

Len is probably the most realistic. He is a backup C at best and can guard the rim. He's also added a 3pt shot since he's been gone, which would help space the floor. I guess it would be a matter of salary. If he'd sign for the minimum then I'd be happy to have him back to play 15-20 minutes a night.
