The 16 teams that comprise the NCAA men's tournament West Regional

The West Regional is Arizona's to win and everyone else's to try and upset the Wildcats. This regional didn't come up exceptionally strong. The Wildcats are a powerhouse and had one two-game losing streak in the 2025-26 college basketball season but otherwise were strong. They won the Big 12 championship and conference tournament. Second seed Purdue has been as high as No. 1 in the rankings. That was much earlier in the campaign. The Boilermakers got it back together to win the Big Ten conference tournament by surprising Michigan. Anything can happen and it just takes a hot streak to make a deep run in the NCAA men's basketball tournament. Is Purdue that team?
