The Texas Longhorns are reportedly getting a huge boost to its 2026 roster with the season just a few weeks away.

Fort Worth (Texas) North Crowley Five-Star Plus+ cornerback John Meredith, the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2027 cycle, is reclassifying to the 2026 cycle and will enroll early in Austin this fall, Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett confirms.
