COLLEGE STATION — It could be argued that no one had more potential NFL talent than the 2025 Texas A&M football team.

The Aggies are expected to have 13 players, the most in the nation, at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. It's also the most Aggies ever selected for the combine, topping the previous high of nine (1992, 2017, 2022), per the A&M athletics department.

The baker's dozen invited to the event on Wednesday represents a dramatic increase from last season. Just three Aggies were invited in 2025, and all three were selected in the draft.

This year’s crop of Aggies with combine invitations includes running back Le'Veon Moss, wide receiver KC Concepcion, offensive linemen Chase Bisontis, Ar'maj Reed-Adams, Dametrious Crownover and Trey Zuhn II, tight end Nate Boerkircher, defensive linemen Cashius Howell, Albert Regis and Tyler Onyedim, linebackers Taurean York and Scooby Williams and cornerback Will Lee III.

Concepcion, Bisontis and York all declared early for the draft. Cornerback Tyreek Chappell, who participated in the East-West Shrine Bowl last month, is the notable A&M senior from this past season’s squad not invited to the combine. Chappell was a three-year starter for the Aggies.

An NFL committee of scouts and other league personnel decides who gets the opportunity to appear at the event; all 32 teams provide input on draft-eligible players. That information is used by the NFL’s player selection committee to select the combine participants. All eligible players are voted on by the committee members. Invitations are extended to the athletes who receive the necessary number of votes. Typically, about 300 players are welcomed.

This year 319 players were invited to the combine, scheduled for Feb. 26-March 1 in Indianapolis. The NFL draft will take place April 23-25 in Pittsburgh.

Alabama (12) and Ohio State (11) had the second and third-most invitees, behind A&M.
