Texas commitment Dia Bell is no stranger to making headlines. That continued on Saturday when he was invited to this year's Elite 11 Final. Bell will get to spend a few days this summer in Los Angeles, competing against the other ten best quarterbacks in his class.

For the Longhorns, Bell's latest honor comes as no surprise. The five-star recruit is ranked as the third-best quarterback in his class and the No. 1 player from Florida, according to 247Sports. He committed to the Longhorns last summer and has not changed his mind despite receiving offers from other schools.

Recently, Bell reaffirmed that Texas is where his focus is. During an interview with ON3.com's Steve Wiltfong, Bell revealed that he does not intend to take visits to any other school. He will be in Austin on June 20th for an official visit.

This summer, fans nationwide will get to see how bright the future is as Bell shows off his skills at the Elite 11 Final. During the three-day event, Bell will get one-on-one quarterback instruction in a competitive environment. It will also consist of on-field drills, competition, classroom instruction, and off-field development. For one of the best players in the 2026 class, it will be a chance to get even better.

Additionally, a 2025 Elite 11 MVP will be named at the end of the event. While it would be a nice honor for Bell to leave Los Angeles with some hardware, his focus will be on taking everything in. While there are only a few players in the country with his talent, Bell is not turning down any chances to get an edge.

As Bell prepares for this unique event, he is coming off a very productive year. Last season, the Fort Lauderdale native threw for 2,597 yards and 29 touchdowns. He also did an excellent job of caring for the football, only throwing six interceptions. Now, he will have a chance to shine on the national stage.
